A sighting my father had back in the 70’s… He was hunting with some friends, He had shot a 1200 pound Moose they had cut the moose up and hung the majority in a tree. It took some time to take out their meat to his truck. They were in quite far I dont know the exact spot but they had to hike in ( hence they hung most of the kill).When he came back the next day to retrieve the rest he had notice huge foot prints in the area. My father was a tall man and was wearing his work boots.He said he could put his boot in the track and it still dwarfed his boot.He was very uneasy about this and decided to take what he could and leave the area at once. I dont believe he ever went back to that area.My father was always an outdoors man but he never talked about this much if at all really.
