Near Brown Creek Campground on Forest Trunk Road

→ Details of the Event:
Driving on the Forest Trunk Road, about a kilometer to a kilometer and a half from the Brown Creek campground (heading towards Robb). A large bipedal hair covered creature was observed as it left the forest, crossed the road, and disappeared back into the trees on the other side. Total sighting duration estimated at 3 to 5 seconds. Height estimated to be between 7 and 8 feet. Hair color was auburn-brown. No vocalizations were heard & no foul odors were detected. No footprints were searched for. Time of sighting estimated to be between 15:00-15:30 hrs. Witness was uncertain of the creature’s gender, but no breasts were observed so the creature was likely a male. Creature did not look towards vehicle as it crossed the road. Witness was quite disturbed by what he had seen, so much that he has cancelled all plans for summer camping in the area.
