i was about 60km south of grande praire, on a logging road east of hwy 40 driving to a drilling rig. coming down a small road towards the rig i noticed what i thought was some guy wearing a brownish coloured fur coat standing by a tree. it looked up at me. i was looking at this thing (this was all about 5 secons) my brain trying to associate what i saw with any thing recognizable. i knew that it was not a deer, moose or bear. with my job i travel around alberta and most of the time iam in the bush, ive seen lots of woodland amimals. I KNOW what all these animals look like and how they behave. i know it was not an animal. it just turned and walked in to the bush slowly, at a casual pace on two feet. i  stopped where i estimated it had walked into the bush seen alot of animal tracks into the bush, unable to identifie clearly which tracks may have came from it. thought it was maybe a hunter in gear but i was only about 1km from my rig site and nobody is aloud on or around site without proper fire proof/reflective coveralls i was not sure what i saw. to describe what i saw, it was around 6 ft tall looked to a husky not fat but muscular, with thick brownish orange coloured hair all over. not sure what i saw unable to identify it….
