This happened just south of Ft McMurray at the Grayling fire base, it’s an old camp there. Forestry owns that now and there are fire crews there in the summer so anyone trying to go in there would have a hard time. I’m a woodland firefighter here in Alberta. We didn’t see it but every year I’ve been put up in that camp we’ve experienced something. I’ve personally never seen it but we’ve had it mess with us. It threw sticks at us from the bush and would come up and make loud bangs on the cabins. A footprint was found by my coworker at some point as well. We would also hear wood knocking. I’ve been there multiple fire seasons and it seems to be there every year that I am.
