The witness was camping at an unspecified location within Waterton Lakes National Park. He was wandering down a footpath/game trail looking for firewood when he came across 4 or 5 very large human-like footprints in the semi-moist soil of the path. The witness estimated the length to be between 17 and 18 inches, the width to be between 8-8.5 inches, & the depth to be 0.5-1 inch. The time of day was between 19:30-20:00 hrs. The weather conditions were warm, overcast, slight breeze, with a possibility of rain.
There was no physical sighting, no vocalizations heard and no foul odors detected.
